About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Customer Connections team in processing new power applications and extensions, distributed generation applications, and managing network issues for existing customers.

This pivotal role requires project leadership and contract management related to new and existing customers, ensuring all metering obligations are met in accordance with the Participation Code and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Customer Connections team in processing new power applications and extensions
  • Manage distributed generation applications and network issues for existing customers
  • Provide project leadership and contract management related to new and existing customers
  • Ensure all metering obligations are met in accordance with the Participation Code and compliance standards
Requirements

We are seeking someone with previous experience in Design, Construction, Maintenance, and Asset Management of Electric Power Distribution systems.

Key qualifications include:

  • 10 years of experience in delivering major civil engineering projects or work programmes
  • 5 years at a senior level leading teams that are results-driven
  • Experience in working with engineering consultants, service providers, and a diverse range of stakeholders and community groups
  • Knowledge of the Electricity Act and associated Regulations, The Industry Participation Code, EEA SM-EI manuals, Health & Safety in Employment Act and associated Regulations, and Resource Management Act
