About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT & Network Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at Ardent Group 365 Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining IT infrastructure and network systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT & Network Installation and Configuration:
    • Design, configure, and install network infrastructure, including cloud, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
    • Perform site surveys to assess and document network requirements and specifications.
    • Support of Client devices to include Laptops, desktops, personal devices in Server and Cloud Environments.
  • System Maintenance and Support:
    • Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring system availability and reliability.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
    • Provide on-site and remote support to clients, addressing technical issues and implementing solutions.
    • Assisting clients both on-site and remotely using the very latest RMM, PSA and Security tools.
    • Support for business messaging systems.
  • Technical Consultation:
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their IT and network needs, offering recommendations and solutions that align with their business goals.
    • Prepare detailed documentation and reports for system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage and execute IT and network projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate with other IT professionals, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
    • Cyber Security services to client devices using the latest assets and protocols.
  • Training and Development:
    • Train clients and end-users on the use of IT systems and network infrastructure.
    • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Proven experience as a Network Engineer, IT Technician, or similar role.
    • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
    • Proficiency with network management tools and technologies.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are highly desirable.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
    • All candidates will be subject to DBS and pre-employment checks.
    • Clean UK Driving license is preferable.
