About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager to join our team at AMR - Specialist Property Recruiters. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our property portfolio, ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards and that our clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the referencing process for new tenants, including the preparation of property and paperwork for new tenancies.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and report on any matters arising.
  • Arrange and oversee maintenance work to ensure that properties are well-maintained and meet the required standards.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of inspections, compliance, and safety certificates.
  • Screen and select tenants, negotiate new tenancies, and ensure a smooth transition for both landlords and tenants.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the existing Property Manager to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Computer literacy in industry-standard software.
  • Knowledge of landlord-tenant law is an asset.

Working Hours

  • 5-day working week.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (8 am start on Tuesday).
  • Every other Saturday with a lieu day off in the week.
  • Share of bank holidays.

Salary

  • £27,000-£30,000.
