Content Sub-Editor (Maternity Cover) - Fashion

We are seeking a skilled Content Sub-Editor to join our vibrant Localisation Services team, specializing in the fashion sector, digital media, and online retail. This pivotal position entails engaging in a variety of projects and assisting all aspects of the team.

As an integral part of the Japan division, your focus will be on producing cutting-edge content across multiple platforms, ensuring compliance with brand standards and voice in a multilingual context. Your duties will encompass crafting Japanese copy for websites, applications, and other channels, maintaining the highest quality, as well as managing flat content revisions and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing CRM content, application layouts, and homepage designs
  • Communicating timelines and project deliverables
  • Editing and approving copy using CAT tools
  • Updating Tone of Voice guidelines based on analytics
  • Ensuring a flawless translation memory
  • Conducting competitor analysis and fashion research
  • Evaluating UI content and Flat Pages
  • Upholding product excellence on the platform
  • Offering insights for ongoing improvement
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Japanese and English
  • Deep understanding of fashion trends and culture
  • Experience in e-commerce localization
  • Knowledge of Term-Management and CAT tools
  • Digital competency with CMS platforms
