Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include editing content to fit designated spaces and ensuring the accuracy of all published material. You will craft compelling headlines that align with Reach's branding and style guidelines.

You will adeptly manage evolving stories and updates, ensuring swift and precise adjustments to the content. It is essential that all material adheres to legal standards and meets IPSO guidelines, reflecting Reach's high expectations. This position requires flexibility, including weekend work.

Candidate Profile

Desired Qualifications:

We are looking for an accomplished journalist with an NCTJ or equivalent qualification and a solid understanding of media law. You should possess extensive experience in journalism, particularly with national or large regional publications. A deep understanding of print news dynamics and a proven history of sub-editing for print media are essential.

You should be capable of assessing when content requires editing and possess the skills to rewrite accurately and efficiently. Crafting precise, impactful, and engaging headlines that meet Reach's stringent standards is a must.
