About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fashion Editor to join our team at Threads Styling Ltd. as a key member of our creative department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing editorial and fashion knowledge, vision, and styling to support the development of our luxury fashion brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product selection and direction for styling and content
  • Manage fashion stylists under the direction of the Head of Creative and Content
  • Contribute to the setting of our fashion point of view (POV) ahead of the season
  • Present trend reports and future focus insights to the wider business
  • Attend office meetings and collaborate with the wider business team

Requirements:

  • Impeccable understanding of the competitive luxury commerce landscape
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and content production
  • Good knowledge of designers and brands, with a keen eye for new and upcoming brands
  • Real sense of runway looks and trends
  • Good understanding of style influencers and relevant influencers

Technical Abilities:

  • Capable of creating a strong output under tight deadlines
  • Native use of social media platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail, specifically with brand partner guidelines

Abilities/Experience:

  • Proven experience in editorial/luxury fashion or luxury commercial/e-commerce environment
  • Experience managing a team
  • Able to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines and exceptional eye for detail
  • Proactive and able to show initiative/ideas to improve and drive the business forward
  • Excellent time management
  • Strategic thinker, contributing new ideas and improvements
