Content Sub-Editor (Maternity Cover) - Fashion

Become a vital part of our innovative Localisation Services team as a skilled Content Sub-Editor with expertise in fashion, digital media, and online retail. This pivotal position entails contributing to a diverse array of projects while supporting all team functions.

As an integral member of the Japan division, your focus will be on producing cutting-edge content across multiple platforms, ensuring compliance with brand standards and tone of voice in a multilingual setting. Your duties will encompass crafting Japanese copy for websites, applications, and other channels to the highest quality, as well as managing flat content updates and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proofreading CRM content, application layouts, and homepage designs
  • Communicating timelines and project completions
  • Editing and approving copy using CAT tools
  • Updating Tone of Voice documentation based on insights
  • Ensuring accuracy in translation memory
  • Conducting research on competitors and fashion trends
  • Reviewing user interface content and flat pages
  • Maintaining product quality on the site
  • Providing constructive feedback for ongoing improvement
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in Japanese and English
  • In-depth knowledge of fashion trends and culture
  • Experience in e-commerce localization
  • Familiarity with term management and CAT tools
  • Proficiency in digital content management systems
