About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at Phocas. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with existing customers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and networking.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to drive revenue growth.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Stay up-to-date with Phocas' products and services, and provide training and support to customers as needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless sales processes and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in a software-based solutions environment.
  • Skills: Strong needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing skills; experience working with CRM systems; ability to listen and apply new learnings; willingness to learn tools and workflows.
  • Education: Degree qualified or relevant work experience.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous Sales Methodology Training: Experience with sales methodologies such as SPIN, Challenger, Force, or MEDDIC.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in business intelligence, accounting technology, and ERP solutions; experience selling and/or working within target markets such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, and services.
