About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Registrar to join our busy Registrar team in the national Collections Management and Information department. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality support to our properties, working on collections acquisitions and loans management, with opportunities to develop your skills in other Registrar tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent Registrar support to our properties, ensuring accurate and timely collections information is recorded in our database.
- Manage a large number of ongoing projects, working flexibly in evolving situations and delivering training to Trust teams on collections management procedures.
- Offer timely and practical advice to colleagues, using your strong administration and organisation skills to undertake key administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Great people and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and liaise with colleagues across the Trust and externally.
- Strong communication skills, with experience of using collections management systems and awareness of collections management procedures, Spectrum 5.1 and UK Museum Accreditation standards.
- Proficiency in full suite of Microsoft Office tools and ability to multi-task, with attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.
