We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Audio Typist within the Trauma & Orthopaedic Department.

The role of an audio typist is crucial in delivering an efficient typing service to Orthopaedic Consultants, Nurse Specialists, Extended Scope Practitioners, and junior staff members. Additionally, support for the secretarial team will be required. This position demands a high level of accuracy and the ability to manage your own workload effectively to meet turnaround targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive typing services for medical professionals.
  • Utilize advanced audio typing systems and maintain confidentiality.
  • Assist in other administrative tasks as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Proficient keyboard skills and experience with audio typing systems.
  2. Strong command of the English language.
  3. Ability to work independently and exercise initiative.
  4. Effective organizational and prioritization skills.
  5. Excellent communication abilities with a diverse range of professionals.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with medical terminology.
  2. Understanding of organizational policies and procedures.
  3. Experience with various patient administration systems.

Work Hours Update:
