Job Title: Fire Protection Project Manager - Fire Doors and Passive Fire Protection Specialist

Job Summary:

Buchan and London Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Project Manager to join our team. As a Fire Protection Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing fire door installations, fire door remedials, fire stopping, fire barriers, and drylining projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee fire door installations, fire door remedials, fire stopping, fire barriers, and drylining projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Team Management: Resource and help grow the team, ensuring that works are completed safely and to the required standards.
  • Client Liaison: Regularly liaise with clients to resolve any issues that arise and maintain good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation.
  • Site Meetings: Attend site meetings as required to ensure projects are progressing as planned.
  • Project Value: Manage projects ranging in value from £1k to £500k.

Requirements:

  • Project Management Experience: 3 years+ experience in Project Management within the fire doors/passive fire protection market sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Sound technical understanding of fire doors and doorsets.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS: Must hold SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
  • Accreditation: Ideally possess 3rd party accreditations (BMTrada/LPCB/Firas).
  • Personal Qualities: High levels of organisation, ambition, and a hard work ethic.
