A new opportunity has arisen for an AOV & Fire Alarm Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our growing organization, specializing in fire safety solutions. The successful candidate will be tasked with visiting various client locations, primarily within the London region, with potential for travel across the country and overnight stays.

The role involves the maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical and fire alarm systems at diverse client sites. The technician will be expected to diagnose and propose solutions for malfunctioning or outdated systems, and where necessary, repair or replace components to enhance reliability and longevity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting maintenance on fire alarm and AOV systems
  • Possessing a solid understanding of BS5839, BS5266 & BS7671 standards
  • Delivering exceptional service to clients in accordance with British Standards
  • Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota
  • Working from schematics and technical drawings
  • Identifying and resolving issues effectively
  • Collaborating with on-site management and project teams
  • Maintaining accurate job documentation, including daily reports and equipment details
  • Understanding smoke venting and fire alarm systems to relevant standards
