Fire Alarm and AOV Systems Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Alarm and AOV Systems Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Fire Design Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the servicing, breakdown cover, and testing of electrical and fire alarm systems across a wide variety of client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain fire alarm and AOV systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with British Standards.
  • Identify and recommend action for faulty or redundant systems, and repair or replace system components as necessary.
  • Work with clients to understand their fire safety and security needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Liaise with development teams, concierge services, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Administer daily report sheets, equipment details, timesheets, and other job-related documentation.
Requirements:
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated approach to work, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Electrical engineering background and experience with fire alarm and AOV systems.
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects and make informed decisions.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
