We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Fire Design Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and testing of electrical and fire alarm systems across a wide range of client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and service fire alarm and AOV systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with British Standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to identify and recommend corrective actions for faulty or redundant systems.
  • Repair and replace system components as necessary to ensure durability and prevent repetitive issues.
  • Liaise with clients, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including daily report sheets and equipment details.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless project delivery and meet client expectations.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of electrical fire alarm systems, including BS5839, BS5266, and BS7671.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and flexible, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Computer literate and proficient in using software applications relevant to the role.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a strong focus on safety and risk management.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel nationwide.
