Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and testing of fire alarm systems across a wide range of client sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Breakdown Cover: Provide breakdown cover for fire alarm systems, responding promptly to faults and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular testing and inspection of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • System Upgrades and Repairs: Upgrade and repair fire alarm systems as required, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to ensure that their fire alarm systems are functioning correctly and that any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the team to ensure that fire alarm systems are maintained and serviced efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Electrical Engineering Background: A strong electrical engineering background is essential for this role.
  • Fire Alarm Systems Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively communicate with clients and other team members.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and resolving issues with fire alarm systems.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure that fire alarm systems are maintained and serviced efficiently.
