About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at Hall & Kay Fire Engineering. As a Service Engineer - Fire Systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of dry riser systems, including visual inspections and tests using specialist equipment.
- Assist with routine inspections and testing of wet riser systems.
- Generate detailed reports of service/job activities in a timely manner, including photos and videos of works carried out.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients and internal teams.
- Undertake servicing and repairs of riser systems.
Requirements
- Experience of servicing and maintaining dry riser systems.
- Knowledge and experience of wet riser pressure and flow testing in high-rise structures.
- Experience of wet riser fire pump testing and adjustment.
- Working knowledge of relevant industry safety standards and regulations.
- Experience with repair and maintenance to BS9990 standards.
- Installation knowledge is an advantage but not a necessity.
- IFEDA Trained/Certified or equivalent.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail required to complete job reports.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving license required.
- Willingness to work away from home occasionally.
