Role Summary:

This position is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave for the HR Operations Lead. The role will involve overseeing the daily HR functions across the London and European offices, ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering HR assistance to staff across Europe, focusing on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and hiring processes.
  • Managing monthly payroll activities, coordinating with external payroll providers for European operations, and overseeing UK payroll matters.
  • Facilitating the annual performance review cycle.
  • Maintaining up-to-date employee benefit programs and liaising with relevant providers.
  • Ensuring the HR information system is current and accurate.
  • Staying informed about employment legislation and compliance.
  • Handling daily HR administrative tasks.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in HR management within a fast-paced corporate setting; experience in financial services is a plus but not mandatory.
  • In-depth understanding of UK and EMEA employment regulations and best practices.
  • Fluency in French and/or German is highly desirable.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification is essential.
  • Proactive approach with a willingness to engage in both HR administration and operational responsibilities.

Additional Details:

  • Competitive salary up to £65,000 based on experience.
  • This is a fixed-term contract role.
  • Standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Hybrid working model with flexibility after an initial onboarding period.
