About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. As a key member of our Marketing and Communications department, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our HQ Building project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications plan to drive the project's success.
  • Manage and execute campaigns from inception to completion, continuously monitoring performance and fine-tuning strategies based on engagement analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with key members of the Marketing and Communications department to maintain consistency and clarity in messaging across all channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, particularly the Project Director and core team, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with the project's objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for responding to campaign-related comments and feedback, managing any potential crises with a calm and strategic approach.
About You

  • Proven experience in managing and implementing marketing and communications campaigns for high-profile projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including social media and email marketing.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
