About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team at Pembroke Communications. As a key member of our corporate communications team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' reputational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored communications solutions.
  • Provide Strategic Counsel: Offer expert advice and counsel to clients on corporate reputation management, crisis communications, and strategic communications.
  • Develop and Implement Communications Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive communications plans to support clients' business objectives, including media relations, content creation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, securing media coverage and managing crisis communications.
  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality content for clients, including press releases, media kits, and social media materials.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, and employees, to support clients' business objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team of experts to deliver integrated communications solutions that meet clients' needs.
Requirements
  • 3-6 Years' Experience: Proven experience in corporate communications, reputation management, or a related field.
  • Strong Media Relations Skills: Excellent media relations skills, with a proven track record of securing media coverage.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive communications plans that support clients' business objectives.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality content and present complex information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work collaboratively with our team and clients to deliver integrated communications solutions.
