We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to join our team at Pembroke Communications. Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored communications solutions to meet their needs.
  • Provide Strategic Counsel: Offer expert advice and counsel to clients, delivering reputational and industry insight to help them achieve their goals.
  • Develop and Implement Communications Strategies: Work with clients to develop and implement effective communications strategies that drive business results and enhance their reputation.
  • Manage Media Relations: Maintain and develop strong journalist relationships, pitching and securing coverage for our clients in top-tier media outlets.
  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality content for owned, earned, and paid channels, including press releases, media kits, and social media content.
  • Media Monitoring: Provide media monitoring services for clients, using a variety of inputs and tools to provide wider context and advise on implications.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team of experts to deliver integrated communications solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Requirements
  • 3-6 Years' Experience: Proven experience in a communications role, with a strong understanding of corporate communications and reputation management.
  • Accomplished Media Relations Skills: Excellent media relations skills, with a track record of securing coverage in top-tier media outlets.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop effective communications solutions that drive business results.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work collaboratively with our team and clients to deliver integrated communications solutions.
