Position Overview:
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is in search of a Sales Account Executive to enhance our Sales division.

In this role, you will be tasked with driving the sales of scientific products and services to educational institutions, governmental bodies, and healthcare organizations.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales of segment-specific products and foster supplier collaborations.
  • Promote essential offerings and additional services to clients in academic research, government labs, and healthcare sectors.
  • Establish and nurture a robust network within the Thermo Fisher Scientific organization.
  • Articulate the unique advantages of Thermo Fisher to targeted segments of our clientele.
  • Meet or surpass sales and margin objectives for your designated area.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships to ensure ongoing market presence and profitability.
  • Optimize selling time and enhance communication and influencing capabilities by effectively utilizing internal resources.
  • Provide clients with insights on supply and pricing trends, and assist in inventory management.
  • Manage pricing strategies within your territory to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow sales team members to implement account strategies for key clients.
  • Understand and address customer needs to enhance business opportunities.
  • Deliver timely feedback regarding customer interactions, competitor activities, and promotional efforts.
  • Complete personal administrative tasks, such as updating the sales force automation system and submitting expense reports, within deadlines.
  • Establish relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to boost profitability.
  • Monitor, maintain, and ensure compliance with key performance indicators.
  • Stay informed about competitor activities and maintain a high level of business acumen relevant to the region.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proven sales experience or substantial laboratory experience in the research laboratory sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, web applications, and sales force software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Confident demeanor with effective engagement skills.
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently in a diverse work environment.
  • Commitment to company policies and values.
  • Professional and effective interpersonal skills when interacting with clients and stakeholders.
