Sales Account Executive

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is on the lookout for a dedicated Account Manager to enhance our Sales division.
In this role, you will focus on promoting and selling scientific products and services to academic institutions, governmental bodies, and healthcare organizations.

- Drive sales of segment-specific products while nurturing supplier partnerships.
- Promote essential offerings and additional services to clients in academic research, government labs, and healthcare settings.
- Establish and maintain a robust network within the Thermo Fisher Scientific ecosystem.
- Articulate the distinct advantages of Thermo Fisher's offerings to targeted segments.
- Meet or surpass sales and profit targets for your designated area.
- Develop and execute a detailed sales strategy to reach revenue and margin objectives.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships to ensure ongoing market presence and profitability.
- Maximize selling time and improve communication and influencing skills by effectively utilizing internal resources.
- Provide clients with insights on supply and pricing trends, assisting in inventory management.
- Manage pricing strategies within your territory to enhance profitability.
- Collaborate closely with fellow sales team members to implement account strategies for key clients.
- Understand and address client needs to capitalize on business opportunities.
- Deliver timely feedback regarding client interactions, competitor activities, and promotional efforts.
- Complete personal administrative tasks promptly, including updates to the sales force automation system and expense reporting.
- Forge relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to boost profitability.
- Monitor, maintain, and ensure compliance with key performance indicators.
- Stay updated on competitor activities and maintain a high level of industry knowledge relevant to your region.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience or substantial laboratory experience in the research sector.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, web applications, and sales force software.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Confident demeanor with effective engagement abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment with various stakeholders.
- Commitment to company policies and values.
- Professional and effective interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and stakeholders.
