Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Exercise Physiologist or Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) team in North Lincolnshire. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients by providing expert guidance, support, and tailored exercise programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of respiratory patients to determine their suitability for PR and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Lead and deliver engaging group, remote, and virtual PR sessions aligned with national standards and best practices.
- Prescribe personalized exercise programs, continuously monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed. Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications to support long-term health improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including nurses and technical instructors, to ensure a coordinated and seamless patient experience.
- Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the PR service and achieve accreditation standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative PR programs within the region.
Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Exercise Physiologist or Respiratory Physiotherapist with relevant clinical experience.
- Strong understanding of respiratory conditions, exercise physiology, and rehabilitation principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
