Scunthorpe, United Kingdom Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Would you like a change of scene or to try something different for a while, working as part of a friendly and supportive team? We're recruiting to a key role within our community services, primarily supporting the rehabilitation medicine and general community in North Lincolnshire. The role also offers the opportunity to work with, and develop skills in supporting adults with dysfluency across North and North East Lincolnshire.

We're looking for an autonomous practitioner who shares the team's passion for delivering high quality interventions and embraces our Trust values of Compassion, Honesty, Respect and Teamwork. You will be well-supported by our wider SLT in conjunction with the North and North East Lincolnshire SLT Team Lead and Clinical Expert SLTs. The team is supported by our Dysphagia Assistant who works within the inpatient service. We hold weekly Videofluoroscopy clinics and are developing our inpatient FEES service.

We offer regular supervision, joint working, training and CPD opportunities to further develop your clinical skills. The Trust offers a range of Quality Improvement training opportunities with built-in support to work on your chosen service improvement project. Alongside colleagues in the team, you will provide clinical leadership to more junior SLT's and support student placements.

The wider SLT service encompasses colleagues with similar roles in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and wider group relations with HUTH, providing regular opportunities for joint working. Our inpatient dysphagia service expands across Saturday and bank holiday working and, dependant on clinical skills this post may be required to contribute to this rota.
