Position Overview
Are you dedicated to enhancing community health? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic team, focusing on both swallowing and communication disorders. This role involves engaging with a varied patient demographic, including those in rehabilitation medicine, and offers the chance to work with individuals experiencing neurological conditions and brain injuries.
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our team, you will:
- Function as an independent practitioner, committed to delivering exceptional care and adhering to our core values of Compassion, Honesty, Respect, and Teamwork.
- Collaborate with our experienced Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) team, including Clinical Expert SLTs, to ensure comprehensive patient support.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as Videofluoroscopy and contribute to the development of our inpatient FEES service.
- Manage a designated patient caseload, employing evidence-based practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions.
- Provide mentorship and clinical leadership to junior SLTs and facilitate student placements.
Work Environment
This position offers flexible working hours, with potential for remote work arrangements. We prioritize professional development through regular supervision, joint working opportunities, and access to Quality Improvement training.
