This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced therapist to expand and develop skills in leading a team. We are seeking a self-motivated, friendly, and enthusiastic individual to join our Children's Therapy Team in North Lincolnshire.
As part of this role, you will co-lead a team of Speech and Language Therapists and non-registered staff, managing performance, service development, audit, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the service. You will work alongside other Band 7 Leads across our Children's Therapy team to support the development of the service as a whole.
Your job will involve providing expert clinical advice, second opinions, intervention, and management for a specialist complex caseload. You will also be responsible for dysphagia management of a caseload, with full training and competencies support provided. There is scope for you to identify possible areas of clinical specialism that interest you.
Main Duties of the Job
To take the lead in day-to-day management and leadership of a small Speech and Language Therapy Team consisting of registered and non-registered roles. To be responsible for the planning, development, maintenance, and evaluation of the Children's Therapy Service, contributing to the strategic planning and informing the Operational Lead for Children's Therapies of any developments and needs.
To provide expert clinical specialist management in children's therapy, including the advanced management of children with diverse presentations and a wide variety of complex communication needs.

Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- HCPC Registered
- Relevant Masters level studies or equivalent level of knowledge demonstrated, e.g., extensive CPD in specialist area
- Post Graduate clinical experience of working with children and young people with complex communication difficulties and disorders at postgraduate level, including assessment, management, and support of CYP within educational/early years contexts
- Relevant degree or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
