Lead Speech and Language Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in North Lincolnshire. As a key member of our Children's Therapy Team, you will play a crucial role in the development and leadership of our service.
In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to expand your skills and expertise as a clinical leader, working alongside other Band 7 Leads to support the growth and development of our service.
You will be responsible for managing a specialist caseload, providing expert clinical advice and interventions for children with complex communication difficulties. You will also be involved in the management of dysphagia cases, with full training and support provided.
The ideal candidate will have extensive post-graduate experience working with children and young people with complex communication needs, including assessment, management, and support within educational and early years contexts.

Main Responsibilities
- To lead the day-to-day management and development of the Speech and Language Therapy Team, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery.
- To provide expert clinical specialist management for children with diverse presentations and complex communication needs.
- To manage a specialist caseload, including assessment, intervention, and management of children with complex communication difficulties.
- To supervise, educate, and assess students, assistants, and junior therapists, providing specialized advice to other professionals in the clinical area.
- To undertake evidence-based audit and research projects to further improve clinical practice and team performance.

Salary and Benefits
