About the Role

This is an entry-level position, perfect for individuals aspiring to build a career in IT Sales. As a Sales Representative, you will collaborate with the Mimecast vendor team to enhance the partnership with Mimecast. Your responsibilities will include engaging with our partners to promote and boost sales of the Mimecast portfolio, while also providing sales and administrative support to a designated Business Development Manager.

In your role as Sales Representative, you will:

  • Cultivate strong internal and external relationships to facilitate seamless transactions for clients and vendors
  • Meet all financial and performance-related KPIs
  • Deliver accurate quotes to ensure first-time correctness
  • Communicate effectively via phone and email to add value to the vendor and partner relationships
  • Address any issues promptly and efficiently
  • Upsell and develop a comprehensive understanding of the vendor and their offerings
  • Maximize opportunities and adopt a proactive sales strategy
  • Provide reports on progress, challenges, and achievements
  • Keep clients informed about the status of quotes and orders
  • Encourage participation in Exclusive Networks and partner events/webinars
  • Maintain up-to-date records in NetSuite and other documentation
