BBQ Line Cashier - Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome each customer, processing their order accurately
  • Repeat orders to customers to ensure accuracy and satisfaction
  • Knowledgeable of menu, demonstrating suggestive selling
  • Use register to track transactions
  • Demonstrate accurate cash handling abilities
  • Packages food correctly for dine-in and to-go orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier area and cash drawer
  • Follow all TABC regulations for responsible alcohol sales

Education and/or Experience

A Food Handler Certificate is required.

TABC certification is also required, with a minimum age of 18 years old for alcohol sales.

Previous cash handling experience is preferred.

Ability to listen, read, write, and speak fluently in English for all job-related circumstances.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
