Key Responsibilities- Provide a Friendly and Welcoming Environment
- Smile, greet, and acknowledge every guest when they enter the store and engage them in conversation
- Operate Cash Register and Point of Sale System
- Assure fast, efficient check-out
- Handle cash and accurately make change
- Answer Customer Questions
- Answer general customer questions about the brewery, including the history of Sierra Nevada, the craft beer industry, and beer styles
- Stock Merchandise
- Stock merchandise, including placement on racks, shelves, counters, and tables
- Maintain stock levels on the sales floor at all times
- Participate in Team Meetings and Training
- Participate in store team meetings and required training
- Perform Light Housekeeping
- Perform light housekeeping of Gift Shop and stock areas
- Clean shelves, counters, windows, and tables
- Pour Beer and Offer Guided Tastings
- Pour beer at the Tasting Room Bar
- Offer a basic guided beer tasting
- Retail and Customer Service Experience
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
- Cash Handling Experience
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Computerized Cash Register Experience
- Experience working a computerized cash register or POS system preferred
- Beer Pouring Experience

- Ability to Learn and Understand Beer Styles
