Craft Beer Ambassador

At Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., we're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Craft Beer Ambassador. As a key member of our Guest Experience department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences to our guests, both internal and external. Your mission will be to provide engaging tours of our brewery, educational beer tastings, and exceptional customer service.
We're committed to our employees and offer a competitive hourly compensation range of $16.00 to $22.17, based on skills, experience, and qualifications. As a Craft Beer Ambassador, you will be responsible for:
- Providing engaging tours of our brewery, including information about our history, culture, brewing process, and sustainability practices.
- Beertending in our Tasting Room Bar, providing general bar service and guided tastings.
- Providing administrative and guest support, including Tour Desk support, answering phones, responding to voicemails or emails, and general Tour Lobby housekeeping.
- Supporting our retail/Gift Store sales and merchandising efforts, as well as our First Impression Team and Guest Experience department.
- Maintaining complete and accurate tour records.
We're looking for someone with prior customer service experience, direct or experiential marketing experience, and the ability to learn and retain detailed information about beer. You should be passionate about craft beer and able to taste, describe, and evaluate beer qualities and characteristics. A California Food Handler Card and TIPS alcohol certification are required within 90 days of start date.
