As a Beer Adventurer at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience to all guests, internal and external. This role requires a passion for craft beer, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present detailed information in an engaging and fun manner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guided tours of the brewery, including information about our history, culture, brewing process, and sustainability practices.
- Beertend in the Tasting Room Bar, providing general bar service and guided tastings.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining tour records.
- Assist with retail/Gift Store sales support and merchandising, as well as First Impression Team assistance.
- Maintain a clean and organized tour lobby and ensure guest safety.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Direct or experiential marketing experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and retain detailed information about craft beer and present it in an engaging manner.
- Passion for craft beer and ability to taste, describe, and evaluate beer qualities and characteristics.
- Ability to obtain a California Food Handler Card prior to start date.
- Ability to complete training to evaluate flavor profiles of beer and participate in our Sensory Panel.
- Ability to obtain certification in the TIPS alcohol awareness program within 90 days of start date.
- Ability to deliver virtual beer tastings and experiences through digital platforms.
- Highly motivated, confident, and creative individual with excellent communication and reasoning skills.
