Claims Resolution Expert

As a Marine Claims Handler, you will play a critical role in handling claims in our Marine classes, collaborating with senior handlers and claims management to ensure the proper servicing and settlement of claims. You will receive mentoring and coaching to maintain the highest standard of technical file handling and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, assess, and adjust assigned claims to ensure timely and fair resolution
- Proactively handle claim files to minimize delays and maximize customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with claims management, underwriting, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless claim processing
- Attend market claim meetings and liaise with key stakeholders to stay informed and up-to-date on industry developments
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity
Requirements:
- Relevant Marine claims handling experience and a strong understanding of ECF2
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines and deliver results
- Knowledge of general insurance principles, regulations, and industry best practices
- Progression to CII qualifications desired to enhance professional development and growth
Educational Requirements:
A level or University degree in a relevant field, such as insurance, business, or a related discipline
Relevant Marine claims handling experience and a strong understanding of industry principles and practices
