About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Manager to join our team at NHS Resolution. As a key member of our claims management function, you will play a crucial role in delivering a single, integrated claims function that supports the successful delivery of our objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of complex and non-complex claims from commencement to conclusion.
  • Conduct investigations, quantify, and negotiate claims to conclusion.
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with external organizations and stakeholders.
  • Manage conflicting priorities and work effectively in a dynamic climate.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our claims management function.
Requirements
  • Technical knowledge and experience of claims management in clinical negligence or non-clinical settings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a large caseload.
  • Understanding of current law and relevant statutes in insurance, clinical, or non-clinical claims negligence areas.
  • Ability to draft documents and complex correspondence in a concise and professional manner.
  • Exceptional customer focus and awareness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member and collaboratively with other teams.
