Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Manager - Property Binders to join our team at Claims Recruitment Services. As a Claims Manager - Property Binders, you will be responsible for leading a team of claims professionals in managing the Property Binders claims portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Drive high performance through setting and reviewing team goals and objectives.
    • Motivate team members, proactively monitor their performance, and ensure they have the requisite skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Claims Management
    • Allocate work, ensuring all claims notifications are reviewed by suitably experienced, skilled, and responsive claims adjusters.
    • Ensure effective technical oversight of delegated claims authority holders, service providers, or outsource partners.
  • Portfolio Management
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the Property Binders underwriting and claims portfolio.
    • Ensure a close collaborative working partnership with underwriters.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Review actual versus expected results.
    • Ensure meaningful claims input into monthly tracking meetings and quarterly reserving meetings.
  • Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key external customers.

Requirements

  • Experience of Lloyd's claims lead arrangements and related claims handling systems.
  • A proven track record of effective management of delegated claims and coverholder & delegated claims authority holders.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
