Claims Business Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Claims Business Manager to join our team at Claims Recruitment Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the performance of our Third Party Arrangements (TPA) supplier contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring adherence to agreed best practice guides and contractual operational standards.
  • Reviewing financial data, and working with the suppliers to ensure that any necessary action is taken where improvement opportunities are identified.
  • Leading and managing specific claims initiatives, including the tracking and analysis of management information.
  • Understanding and responding to business results, as well as market, technical and legal challenges.
  • Working with the Audit function to provide assurance over TPA performance.
  • Making recommendations to the Heads Of function and Claims Assurance for optimal contract terms.
  • Tracking management information, making appropriate recommendations for improvements.
  • Managing the performance of TPA contracts.
  • Holding review meetings with TPA supply chain partners to hold them to account for contractual commitments.
  • Working in conjunction with the supplier audit function to provide adequate assurance over supplier performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar TPA Claims role is required.
  • Candidates from a Motor Insurance background are preferred, although TPA experience in other areas will also be considered.
  • An articulate and numerate individual, with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
