Cyber Claims Manager Opportunity
About the Role
We are proud to partner with a leading global Cyber insurer to bring this opportunity for a Cyber Claims Manager to the market.
As a Cyber Claims Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the Cyber portfolio, including the handling of a caseload of complex and high-profile Cyber Claims. You will work closely with multiple international teams, stakeholders, and management to ensure the successful delivery of business plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of the Cyber portfolio, including the handling of a caseload of complex and high-profile Cyber Claims.
- Management of the Cyber Claims team, their performance, and development.
- Oversight and strategic planning of TPAs and Coverholders relationships, working closely with the Head of on various issues, improvements, and projects.
- Work closely with the Underwriting team in a collaborative way to ensure business plans are met.
- Monitoring the profitability of the Cyber account, reviewing the actual versus expected, and ensuring that there is meaningful claims input into monthly tracking meetings and quarterly reserving meetings.
- You will demonstrate and ensure effective, appropriate, and meaningful collaboration between you and your team, and key internal customers, including underwriting, actuarial, outwards reinsurance, finance, senior management, catastrophe management, risk, compliance, operations, HR, and all other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Lloyd's claims scheme and related claims handling systems.
- Coverholder management and oversight.
- A proven track record of effective management of Cyber claims, demonstrating a high level of technical competency.
- Knowledge of key issues affecting the Cyber insurance market.
- Team leadership and development.
- Delivering results under pressure and prioritizing workloads effectively.
