Position Overview

Role Summary:

CFC is seeking a skilled claims expert to enhance our claims department and ensure the delivery of exceptional claims services to our policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cyber and technology claims, demonstrating diligence and a commitment to excellence. This position will collaborate with the CFC Claims and Incident Response team, as well as various incident response partners, including forensic, legal, and public relations professionals, to provide a comprehensive and effective response to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cyber and technology claims on behalf of CFC's capacity providers from initial loss notification through to settlement, adhering to CFC's delegated authorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers, ensuring outstanding customer service.
  • Coordinate with a network of response vendors during claims incidents to facilitate effective resolutions.
  • Ensure timely and precise reserving, identify and pursue relevant third-party recoveries, and work to minimize claims leakage.
  • Collaborate closely with underwriters to provide insights on claims trends and assist the Products team in the development of CFC's offerings and documentation.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about Cyber and Cyber Security. The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in engaging with external stakeholders in a customer service or consultancy capacity.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks effectively, recognizing critical deadlines related to lawsuits, demand letters, and claims inquiries.
  • Experience managing the complexities involved in cyber incidents and/or forensic investigations.
