Job Title: Cyber Claims Specialist

At AXIS Capital, we are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Cyber Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional claims service and that we deliver on our promises in paying valid claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle cyber claims for a broad range of clients worldwide, written in the Global Cyber & Technology Unit and reporting to the Head of Cyber Claims International.
  • Work closely with clients, TPA service providers, external legal advisors, and specialist vendors to ensure a premier claims service to clients is maintained.
  • Develop a working appreciation of the practical application of first and third-party cyber coverages, reserving evaluations, cyber risk management considerations, and the roles and responsibilities of the various vendors typically engaged following a cyber incident.
  • Liaise with respective underwriters on wording/policy issues and expert panels, provide claims information, and attend client meetings as appropriate.
  • Provide claims intelligence to the Cyber Risk Advisory team and Incident Commander and assist in various related projects as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Specific and relevant cyber insurance experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with customers and service providers, both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of CLASS/ECF2.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working for a syndicate or company or perhaps a broker as a claims advocate/negotiator and gained sufficient practical experience in the marketplace to independently perform the above duties and responsibilities.
  • Legal and/or professional qualification, but this is not essential.
  • Experience in TPA management and oversight.
