Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Business Manager to join our team at Claims Recruitment Services. As a Claims Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance of our Third Party Arrangements (TPA) supplier contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Monitor adherence to agreed best practice guides and contractual operational standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Review financial data and work with suppliers to ensure that any necessary action is taken where improvement opportunities are identified.
  • Claims Initiatives: Lead and manage specific claims initiatives, including the tracking and analysis of management information.
  • Business Acumen: Understand and respond to business results, as well as market, technical, and legal challenges.
  • Audit and Assurance: Work with the Audit function to provide assurance over TPA performance.
  • Contract Negotiation: Make recommendations to the Heads Of function and Claims Assurance for optimal contract terms.
  • Data Analysis: Gather, cleanse, and build usable data sets from TPAs to provide analytical input for the development of the company's TPA claims experience.
  • Management Information: Track management information and make appropriate recommendations for improvements.
  • Financial Performance: Manage the optimal financial performance of TPA contracts.
  • Technical Best Practice: Determine technical best practice on key issues alongside relevant stakeholders.
  • Supplier Management: Hold review meetings with TPA supply chain partners to hold them to account for contractual commitments.
  • Supplier Audit: Work in conjunction with the supplier audit function to provide adequate assurance over supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is required, including knowledge of Motor insurance.
  • Skills: An articulate and numerate individual, with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
