Institutional Sales Associate (AVP) - FICC

The Institutional Sales team is responsible for a diverse range of products, including repo, money markets, emerging market rates (Asia cash and cleared rates), and foreign exchange. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious sales team at Marlin Selection, focusing on institutional clients such as real money, hedge funds, and official institutions.

We seek a collaborative individual who is intellectually curious and ready to take ownership within a results-oriented sales environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a keen attention to detail, possessing a risk-aware mindset aimed at achieving optimal client outcomes while adhering to the bank's risk framework.

A positive personality that flourishes in a team setting and adapts well to new challenges is essential. The candidate should appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit required to build new business ventures from the ground up, demonstrating a growth mindset and a good sense of humor.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves supporting the Institutional Sales team with prior experience in flow sales (repo, securities lending, foreign exchange, or rates). We are looking for someone who is inquisitive, focused, proactive, and eager to contribute. An independent self-starter motivated to help expand our institutional flow platform and interested in new initiatives is essential.

Familiarity with emerging market FICC products and a solid understanding of cross-currency and FX basis will be advantageous. The candidate should be prepared to engage with money market inquiries, foreign exchange requests, and assist in enhancing our flow repo offerings.
