Private Patient Coordinator

Location: Springfield, Chelmsford

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time

Position Summary:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled, motivated, and dedicated professional to join the Private Patient Team at Springfield Hospital, based in Chelmsford.

This role is dynamic and demanding, requiring an enthusiastic and adaptable individual who can meet the diverse needs of the service. You will have the ability to respond promptly to requests from consultants and colleagues while demonstrating initiative in your work.

Private Patient Coordinators must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be confident in engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including consultants, medical secretaries, and patients, while maintaining a strong focus on customer service excellence. This multifaceted role encompasses delivering top-tier customer care to our private patient demographic, alongside a foundational understanding of marketing and revenue generation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in managing a portfolio of private patients from initial inquiry to admission
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly with MS Office
  • Confident in engaging with diverse individuals
  • Articulate with outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High standards of personal presentation
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven
  • Experience in private healthcare is advantageous
