Jupiter Recruitment is excited to announce a new opportunity for a committed Patient Care Support Specialist to join a prestigious private healthcare facility. This role is based in a leading hospital that is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care.

**Candidates must possess an NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care to be eligible for this role.**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the patient admission process
  • Perform post-operative dressing changes (following competency)
  • Monitor patients after surgery
  • Provide chaperoning for patients as needed
  • Accurately record and process all charges in a timely manner
  • Support minor medical procedures, including ENT, dermatology, and podiatry
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and clinical areas to create a welcoming environment for consultants, patients, and visitors

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Understanding of customer service principles
  • Proficient IT skills
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or caring environment, preferably in private healthcare
  • Enthusiastic, dedicated, and a team player, with flexibility and physical capability to perform the role, while being sensitive to the needs of patients and consultants
