Director of Academic Policy and Quality

About the Role
The Director of Academic Policy and Quality will lead the development and implementation of effective and efficient policy frameworks for the UCL Eastman Dental Institute's education and student experience. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Institute's Quality Review Framework, developing and reviewing academic policies and procedures, and working closely with other central professional services, faculties, and the Vice Provost Education Office to ensure that all regulations and policies can be operationalised in an efficient and effective manner.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a good honours degree or equivalent professional experience, in-depth knowledge and understanding of UK higher education, and an understanding of Office for Students conditions of registration. You should have extensive experience of developing policy/regulation within a university environment, with a clear focus on the practical implementation of policies. You should have experience of developing quality frameworks including programme approval and review. You should also have the ability to lead and inspire a team, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interrogate data to determine risk.
