About the Role

The Head of Academic Policy and Quality will lead the development and implementation of effective policy frameworks for the UCL Eastman Dental Institute's education and student experience. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Quality Review Framework, developing and reviewing academic policies and procedures, and collaborating with other central professional services, faculties, and the Vice Provost Education Office to ensure efficient and effective operationalization of regulations and policies.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess a good honours degree or equivalent professional experience, in-depth knowledge and understanding of UK higher education, and familiarity with Office for Students conditions of registration. You should have extensive experience in developing policy and regulation within a university environment, with a focus on practical implementation. Additionally, you should have experience in developing quality frameworks, including programme approval and review, and possess the ability to lead and inspire a team, excellent communication skills, and data analysis capabilities.
