Job Summary:

University College London is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead the Academic Policy and Quality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective policy frameworks for the university's education and student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policy frameworks for education and student experience
  • Lead the Academic Policy and Quality team
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the university's Quality Review Framework
  • Develop and review academic policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with central professional services, faculties, and the Vice Provost Education Office to ensure efficient and effective implementation of regulations and policies

Requirements:

  • Good honours degree or equivalent professional experience
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of UK higher education
  • Understanding of Office for Students conditions of registration
  • Extensive experience of developing policy/regulation within a university environment
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interrogate data to determine risk
