We are seeking a Culinary Operations Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. Please ensure you have considered your commute to work before applying.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full-time), with regular weekend and holiday shifts required, working 5 out of 7 days, with the earliest start at 8 am and the latest finish around 6 pm.

Compensation: £30,000 annually.

Contract Type: Permanent.


Work Environment

Reporting to the Senior Food & Beverage Manager, you will be based in a historic estate that spans approximately 4,000 acres, featuring a mansion, parkland, gardens, and multiple food and beverage outlets. Our offerings include a café, tea-room, kiosks, and a grab-and-go service.

Your Responsibilities

As the Culinary Operations Manager, your primary focus will be managing kitchen activities while collaborating with the Food and Beverage management team to create innovative menus that utilize local ingredients and adapt to seasonal changes.

You will explore new avenues to enhance revenue and achieve financial objectives by effectively managing inventory and minimizing waste. Administrative duties will include placing orders and overseeing invoices through an online system.

Your culinary expertise will be essential as you prepare dishes from scratch using fresh, seasonal produce. You should be skilled in baking and preparing a variety of dishes, including soups and stews.

In this role, you will lead and support your team, embodying the Trust's values, and fostering an environment that promotes excellent service to our visitors while creating a positive workplace culture.

We will provide a tailored induction and training in food safety and allergens, along with ongoing professional development opportunities.
