Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the automotive industry. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue and expand our customer base.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of selling technical solutions to Tier 2 and Tier 3 automotive companies. You will be responsible for managing a team of sales engineers and account managers, and will work closely with our engineering and design teams to develop and sell bespoke solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and expand our customer base
  • Manage a team of sales engineers and account managers to achieve sales targets
  • Work closely with our engineering and design teams to develop and sell bespoke solutions to our clients
  • Present at board level to clients and stakeholders
  • Have a strategic approach to sales and be able to think creatively to solve complex problems
  • Be a team player and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of selling technical solutions to Tier 2 and Tier 3 automotive companies
  • Experience of managing a sales team and achieving sales targets
  • Ability to work closely with engineering and design teams to develop and sell bespoke solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic approach to sales and ability to think creatively
