Accounts Support Specialist

As an Accounts Support Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Finance Manager, acquiring invaluable experience and guidance.

You will have the chance to pursue a professional accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA, with all costs covered by the organization.

This position is perfect for someone aspiring to take on greater responsibilities and ultimately transition into a managerial finance role.


Compensation:

Up to £40,000 + pension + 25 days of annual leave + Fully funded professional accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA) + Ongoing career development + Training opportunities + Complimentary on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the creation of financial reports and statements.
• Oversee sales and purchase ledger activities.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and support cash flow management.
• Aid in audit preparations and coordinate with auditors as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.

Provide administrative assistance to the finance team as required.


Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Familiarity with sales ledger, purchase ledger, accounts payable, or accounts receivable is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is beneficial.
