Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Support Specialist to join our team at EdEx - Education Recruitment. As a SEN Support Specialist, you will work closely with children with complex SEN/SEMH needs, providing individualized support in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with complex SEN/SEMH needs
  • Assist in and out of the classroom to ensure a smooth learning environment
  • Report feedback and information to class teachers to ensure effective communication
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans

Requirements

  • Graduate with strong academic credentials, e.g. 1st Class degree/2:1
  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH needs is required for this role
  • Sufficient knowledge about SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SpLD
  • A 'can-do' attitude and a passion for supporting children with complex needs
